I'm a researcher in the field of Human-Computer Interaction, currently working out of the University of Calgary. I come from an interdisciplinary background with a BSc in Computer Science, a BSc in Psychology, and an MSc in Human-Computer Interaction.
I completed my MSc as part of the Interactions Lab and C3 Lab, under the supervision of Geoffrey Messier and Helen Ai He. For my thesis work, I collaborated with the Calgary Drop-In Centre to study the role that data plays in frontline decision-making at emergency shelters. Before my master's, I led a team of international collaborators in investigating how temporal design frictions can influence polarizing online conversations. I am now working with the Addictive Behaviours Lab and Zamplo, looking at how to design self-tracking technologies to support substance use recovery and treatment outcomes.
